| This is one figure I've been dying to make a gallery of. It's not worth making a review of (not to say I won't if I get bored) but this is the Yongda Kenshiro from Hong Kong. Yongda from what I heard was a company that did boots of figures but wanted to be a legit company. So they released the Hokuto No Ken line and a City Hunter line in the early to mid 90's. Now before anyone asks yes these figures are officially licensed figures( Yeah I know shocked the hell out of me to). As cool as it was to have a HNK action figure line it was disappointing to see such really BAD figures get released. The QC was non existent. Too much plastic excess on the parts (the weapons were blown up versions of the GI Joe "Ninja Force" line) and were just a mess. I could make a list but I don't have the time. In fact the Ken in this Gallery while brand new was in bad shape. The arm broke off and I had to repair it. It's a great figure to customize tho'. If you like to kit-bash stuff than this is a good one to do it on. Recommended only to the uber die-hard fan. *Notice how on the card it doesn't say "Hokuto No Ken" but Hokuto Shin Ken! Also from what I hear the "BEIDOSHENQUAN" is trying to say Hokuto Shin Ken. |
